Nicolas has worked in a variety of business management, fundraising, and development roles over the past two decades in the UK, Belgium, Uzbekistan, and Australia. He has also taught in France and Uzbekistan at secondary and tertiary education levels. He is a keen sailor, swimmer, surf lifesaver, and cyclist who lives on the Northern Beaches with his wife and two children. Nico has recently experienced the significance of cancer care by supporting his wife through treatment.

Lisa Gallate is a senior commercial litigator specialising in class actions and corporate insolvency, an author, and a mother of three children who has experienced the grief of the loss of loved ones to cancer. Lisa is also a volunteer grief counsellor. She believes that grief and other loss can be life-changing and that we can move forward and find purpose, love and happiness in our changed landscape.

Julian lived on the Northern Beaches for 30 years since emigrating from the UK, but has moved recently to the Central Coast. Although he had to retire prematurely because of metastatic cancer, he maintains an active interest in medicines having trained as a pharmacologist, and with a PhD in pharmacology. He is passionate about evidence based medicine, gastronomy, wines, nature, outrigging and kayaking, giving, and of course being in the presence of good company.

Before founding a boutique sports management business focusing solely on female footballers, Rob Juric had extensive experience with top-tier investment banks in Australia and the UK. A CPA with commerce and financial investment expertise, he was involved in corporate lending, risk management, and financial analysis. He has a long involvement in youth and school football on the Northern Beaches where he lives with his wife and two children. Rob’s daughter recently went through successful treatment of a rare cancer.

Prior to running a publishing house on the Northern Beaches, Bonita had an executive career in strategic policy and program management roles in federal government working in Finance, Education and Health where, amongst other things, she was responsible for Australia's first National HIV/AIDS Strategy; and in strategic policy and communications roles in the not-for-profit health and sporting sectors. She has written three books and edited an anthology of women writers. She has survived cancer twice. Bonita is also the founder and chairman of the Manly Writers' Festival.

Kevin Montier is a real estate development professional and CPA with over 20 years' experience in leading the conversion, planning and delivery of large-scale master planned communities. He lives on the Northern Beaches with his wife and two adult children and enjoys keeping active and enjoying all that the area has to offer. Kevin is a recent prostate cancer survivor and along with his own experience, he has witnessed the loss of close family members to cancer.
